I'll put a Photograph Inside the Frame of my Heart

It's about 1pm and in about an hour I leave for JFK where I'm going to meet about a third of AKPsi and take this flight to Florence. Bags packed and ready to go, I figured I would blog one last time before i bounce. No more movies, no more music, although I just tried to make a playlist for the 12 or so hours I'll be in transit and the playlist ended up being 3 days long and 5g large. Clearly I might have been overzealous but I think it should suffice. The thing that I've always wanted to do is listen to Frou Frou's Let Go while the plane is taking off. Something about that song screams "listen to me while the plane takes off." I"ll let you know if it was worth it. I have said my goodbyes to many people and told them about this blog. They asked if it was going to be like the one in Julie/Julia; I'll be honest, I will do my best to update as often as possible although I don't see it garnering a movie deal by the last post. I still don't have any pictures, although those I take of us during our flight will be up via Blogspot or Facebook. I haven't made a twitter yet, but if I did it would be up there too. As my fellow blogger Sabrina did in A Room Without a View(a must read), I will also list the things that i will miss the most while abroad:


Family/Friends - I'll miss all the homecooked chinese meals, friends and the hangouts, the all night conversations, and the shenanigans that can't be mentioned...

Technology - the big screen TV and the XBOX live, FIFA 10, Halo3 with BenSeanHwang, and Modern Warfare 2(eddy you better get this so when i get back we'll play)

If only that was Hwang getting owned


New York City - because the big city never sleeps, and i have adopted its attitude and sleep schedule, and the Met's annoying ticket salesmen who give me dirty looks when I give $1 as my suggested donation
